Kate was initially drawn to marketing as a "sensible" alternative to her first love -psychology. Not quite an art, not quite a science either, she enjoys the challenge of understanding and influencing customers' behaviour.
Kate spent the formative part of her career clientside, progressing through various B2B and consumer marketing roles before becoming an Account Director for an FMCG brand consultancy. She decided to specialise as a copywriter after having an epiphany halfway up a mountain in Italy.
Outside work, her passions (in no particular order) are food, extreme hiking, food, European travel, food, neuro linguistics and food.
If she wasn't a copywriter, Kate would be lost for words.
Kate has never had a strange job, only strange colleagues.
