Academics at a Norfolk university say swearing at work helps employees cope with stress.
Sounds interesting, but then they go and spoil it by bringing common-sense into the equation and saying that in the presence of customers or senior staff, profanity must be ’seriously discouraged or banned’. Shame really, as the younger, more lethargic members of the fast-food industry would finally get to speak their minds by enquiring “Would you like fries with that, you fat b******?”.
