London Gatwick appoints dnx!
Following a successful pitch, we’re excited to announce that Gatwick Airport has appointed us as their primary BTL agency to produce below the line activity. Work will include data-driven programmes to help drive customer preference and revenue across its retail, catering and car-parking amenities. The programmes will be using email campaigns, interactive eBooks and other promotional materials over the peak summer months. We’ll also be working with Airline partners to promote new routes and services from Gatwick. It's great to be working with such a prestigious client at such a key time for them and we’re looking forward to delivering tangible commercial results.

Go on, pass the ball!
Our new global campaign for Cisco WebEx launched today with a live event at Victoria Station. Pass the Ball is all about sharing ideas and we’ve been asking commuters to share their favourite ideas with us with the help of a giant seven foot high ‘video diary room’ shaped like a WebEx ball.
The ideas will then be shared globally on the campaign microsite where we’ll be inviting everyone to share their ideas and rate other people’s. Participants will all get a chance to win WebEx for a year and every time someone posts or rates an idea, WebEx will be making a donation to Teachers Without Borders.
The event is being supported by press advertising, digital escalator panels and cross track 48-sheet posters in key underground stations. There will also be extensive online activity.
We’ll be running a similar event in Germany. In France, leading commercial station NRJ is running a prolonged radio competition. The competition allows listeners to share their most humorous or embarrassing incidents at work!

A real cutting edge thought for you...
"Thought Leadership" programmes are all the rage in the B2B space. But in a crowded marketplace, it's getting harder to generate breakthrough "leading" ideas. In an era characterised by mass collaboration — wikis, blogs, social networks to name but a few — a Thought Leadership programme can no longer be a one-way street. Perhaps a new and more appropriate paradigm for the content creating Gen Y, internet-enabled age would be a Thought Meritocracy.

We're climbing the charts!
In Marketing's 2008 table of Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing Agencies,
you could find us at 52nd. This year, you'll have to look at bit higher as
we've climbed to 39th, a rise of 13 places. Our ability to work both on and
off line, creating engaging and insightful campaigns that generate the right
results is clearly helping us do better than to hold our own.

Domi takes the stage at Exploiting Social Media in B2B Marketing
Our award-winning campaign System Heroes was featured as a case study at a key B2B event last week. Domi, accompanied by Andreas Schneble, our client from Sun Microsystems delivered the presentation at Exploiting Social Media in B2B Marketing which was held at The Century Club in London. They explained how we have built an online community for System Administrators using a mixture of serious and silly content, an active blog page and, of course, some factual content about Sun.

Watch us dancing in The Street (Albury)
In support of this year's Red Nose Day, Account Manager Ashley Barrell brought some urban flava to rural Albury by teaching us to street dance. The results were perhaps more hip-replacement than hip-hop so we won't be giving K-Fed or Fiddy any sleepless nights but the most important thing is that charity is the winner - innit.

We don't anticipate our efforts will make it onto MTV so watch the video and view the photos, then decide for yourself whether our rhythm and co-ordination are more Snoop Dogg or guide dog!

Short and Tweet - Drew gets Twittering
![]()
I've finally succumbed to micro blogging. For some reason Facebook and MySpace have never quite appealed but I was really drawn to the simplicity of Twitter — no walls and pokes, just 140 characters to tell the world what I am doing. My own tweets are pretty dull so far (I'm still learning), but the net is full of interesting folk and I'm learning lots about how we can use social media as a platform for some really effective campaigns.
If you want to follow our own DNX twitterers look for Alex Brayshaw, Keith Povey, Teresa Richards and of course me!
